This original East German military surplus E-Tool (entrenching tool) cover was designed to fit a small foldable field shovel. It is made from a heavy-duty rubberized vinyl synthetic Material.

These are in unissued condition but may exhibit storage wear such as dirt, spots of rust, and stiffness.
